PS crash, does it save?
Hey, just worked my ass off on some gfx and then my
PS
crash, and did not save it. (Yeah i know, allways save your work)
But i didn't do, so if someone knows how to get it back i would be happy

Unfortunately if you didn't save your work at any point before the crash, it would only have existed in RAM, so it will have gone for good. Even if part of it was written to the scratch disk, I don't think there's any way you could retrieve it.

You might try a system restore, not sure that will work. but hey WTH!

A System Restore (in Win XP) will only restore system files, not data files. So even if the file had been saved to disk (which it hadn't in this case) a system restore would not get it back.

Thanks tamlin, I learn something new from you all the time. I never knew sys restore only restored system files. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!
