Ok. I'm into rock, but rock is very diverse. Many sub-styles and such prevent me from chosing just one such "favourite" band.
Here's a list of some of the bands that I love much more than others (picked out from my personal CD collection, of 24 CDs)
Pearl Jam, Deftones, Broken Social Scene, Beck, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Audioslave, the Strokes, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Metallica, Radiohead, White Stripes, Weezer, Alexisonfire, Sam Roberts, Nirvana.
EDIT: OMFG. I did a quick google search of Interpol and their album got a 9.5 over at pitchforkmedia. I'm going to buy it as soon as i have the chance.

evdawg the bands you listed are mainly pretty cool, espically the strokes.
Ive never heard another band like interpol in my life. Most bands only really have a couple of decent songs, with interpol i love every one of their songs. I dont have a favorite song they're all great.

Hrmmm I'll check out Interprol when I get a chance.
Right now my favorite band is Story of the Year. Their CD, Page Avenue, is awesome. Not a single song on there I don't like.

Nikki is friends of them in real life (Story of the Year, that is), you should talk to her. She can call like anyone of them one the phone at any time.
Right now I like a lot of bands/artists... here are some..
Common, Nas, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, U2, Bon Jovi, Guns N' Roses, Story of the Year, Ludacris and much more.

Hmmmm, I don't really have a favourite artist or band to be honest. That said, i've been listening to a lot of Funker Vogt recently...

Heh, I didn't wear green. I was too lazy and errr ... kinda forgot. I remembered the day before but on St. Patty's Day I woke up a little late and just threw something on. Oh well, I guess I blended in with the other gazillion people that weren't too lazy also.

And yeah! What Alex said is true. I met them at a show two years ago and we're pretty close now. We talk a lot.
