Making a copyrighted CD

Hi, i have made a program that i plan to sell, possibly on ebay and i dont want anybody to copy it. Does anybody know how to make a CD copyrighted, so that it cant be copied.......thanks

first i want to say that everything can be copied, not that that's wat i have been doing. A friend of mine makes programms too(small ones). and his programms are copied so.

But i guess you need to put a serial at work or you could make a script that is different for every disc or something like that. But i can't tell you how to make this so, i'm sorry for that.

Do not quote this for truth as I was told this by someone and I'm not sure I believe it myself =P

I was told that every CD-r has a serial number on the disc that is readible by the CD drive. Is it not possible to include in your program the argument that if the serial number is not there or is different, not to run? I'm not knowledgable about programming but it seems this could be feasible.

Like I said, I did no research -- this is word of mouth =P

i agree with unleash that everything can be copied...what you can do is put up some of your cds at regular price and then make as much copies as you can and sell them at the price of pirated copies...bright business idea, huh...

Ive just done a search on google and found your right, someone will eventualy get past the code....but still not everybody. Oh and good business idea......i just dont have enough disks yet.
