Well we will never noe who is behind the gr8 design concept for a website or such projects... and it always comes down to comparing works of sites you like.. may it be for the way the layout is done or maybe the colours they use... not all the sites have them figured out.... so such an insperation will be of a gr8 help... I do the same... hey it does come handy when dealing with clients...

There are plenty of great looking websites around and I don't get inspired by a person, just the idea itself. This is mostly because I have no idea who made the specific design. I usually want to create simple designs with a catch. I also like nice details around.

Always Dhabih Eng (http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/gallery/) - I haven't seen him output much recently, but it was his early work that got me started on this whole graphical journey. Oh, and I greatly admire Rorschach too - you know him as the guy who did all the skins for Unreal 2. I've met the fella too, and he's really quite friendly and down to earth!

Hey Man1c M0g....Dhabih Eng is cool...I just checked out the link. Loved the image called 'MAD'. Great artwork. I am very inspired, annoyed and inadequate when I look at the work of a guy called Gilles Tran. His stuff is surreal and wonderfully awesome. It's all 3D stuff and I think he uses POVray a lot but check him out at http://www.zazzle.com/gtran Be interested to see what you all think. Also another artist on the zazzle site called Anry who does incredible art ... an image called 'Ice Dragon' is superb the url to that gallery is pretty much the same as the gtran address just typ anry instead of gtran and it'll take you there.

I get some inspiration from computer design magazines such as Computer Arts Magazine, Layers, Photoshop User etc. Images of nature, fractals, space, microbiology. Websites of professional and amateur designers/artists. Lots of design and art books. Thanks to Man1cMOg and ginegerbloke for the web links to Dhabih Eng, Gilles Tran and Anry - impressive work by artists I wouldn't otherwise have known about. One artist who does some beautiful Photoshop collages is Maggie Taylor at http://www.maggietaylor.com/.

Annika von Holdt. I make photoshop brushes all the time but I have NO idea how she does such beautiful ones. I wish I did but unfortunately she has no time to make up tutorials.

Just found this site again: http://www.billybussey.com Absolutely amazing stuff with flash. I usually don't like flash websites but Billy sure knows what he's doing. I can just admire.

I'd have to say the work of Trent Reznor, (nine inch nails), defently inspires me. Even if it isnt visual, it still gets deep into my system.

I was waiting when someone would say 2advanced Well it's nice stuff but doesn't impress me as much as it did few years ago. This new version is not as good as the previous one was. But hey...great stuff anyhow.

Ok I know I have already posted a couple of names on this topic but I have recently discovered someone who's work seriously blew my mind. Her name is Soa Lee and she's Korean. This is the link to her site http://soanala.com/eng/ I'd be interested to hear what you all think. The standard of the work on display is beyond anything I have seen for a very long time. She uses 3DS Max and photoshop for most of her work. Take a look ...I don't think you'll regret it!

I really like the work the Designer's Republic did on the Wipeout games also I really like the stuff i've seen done by Jon Burgerman and Paris Hair. 123Klan has an interesting site too bluespeed9 has gorgeous 3D work as does Trecman (who also does 2D stuff).

Their website are these:
