Socom Ii
This game will be the best game EVER made, comes out in 5 days, November 4th.
SOCOM 1 was the best game, but this will probably top it. Keep in mind, its only the best when you can go online.

I've always been a fan of team/clan-based games (especially considering i'm in a clan thats existed since 1996!), so i'll give this game a go when it comes out I think! That said, I'm looking forwards to UT2004.... although i'll probably need a PC upgrade to run it...

My clans been around since August 29th 2002, still going good on SOCOM and carrying over to SOCOM II. www.GameBattles.com is going to be the best S2 ladder, and www.SocomBattles.com will remain the best S1 ladder. I recommend you play a lot before joining a clan because it takes 6-9 months to even compete with the people I play with, and people on this game are harsh on noobies. But its fun, none the less. You will also need a headset, us original SOCOMers will have our S1 headset, but S2 doesnt come with one, its an extra $40 on the side, and the game is $40. Plus you need PS2 network Adapter and broadband. If, which I hope you do, get it going, hollar at me on AIM at Tekvex and we can play.

Ahhhh, console! Nevermind then - i'm a PC junkie these days. In fact, i've not owned a console since my good old SNES. Ahhh, those were the days.... :P
You can get pretty great PC headsets from Plantronics. My near-top-of-range pair only cost $30 and have excellent sound quality. Nothing quite beats hearing your clanmates scream in your ear real-time, does it?

Hey, I like the Xbox myself! Its a decently specced system with a stylish look. I wish it wasnt just so darned big though! You could almost use one as a lethal weapon!

Some people have actually gone and watercooled their X-boxes! Sounds like a great idea to me - my PC is watercooled, and is pretty quiet, even when overclocked to the max. That said, you'd definately void your warranty....

I voided the warranty on my xbox just to look inside, I am mad I did it now. But I like xbox over any other systems, specs, online capabilities, looks.. its a good console. PS2 does have some better games though..
I was hardcore Xbox but PS2's games compete.. hard to say.

Xbox doesnt have the games because of Micorsoft's game rules.. developers have to but the special softwares, which range around 10,000 dollars, and then whatever they make has to go to Microsoft to be "Quality Checked".. which is a load of because we all that a lot of MS programs crash easily...

Well, Microsoft are far from perfect, but do not win the crown for the most interfering company of all. Anyone remember Nintendo, and the way that they used to control absolutely everything that came out on the SNES? Who could forget the green blood in Mortal Kombat and Wolfenstein 3d?
