You haven't told them already about Biorust?! But don't forget, Biorust is a very special community. They should not join if they are only 'passing thru', okay?---bedlam123

Only if you are organising it - your parties are the best!
Seriously, though, I'm probably gonna trim down the member numbers a bit in the next few months as quite a few of those e-mails/members are now inactive, etc. That said, we do have some pretty hefty milestones approaching - I think its nearly our 5th birthday (I really must verify the date), and we may top 200 tutorials by the end of the year. WoohOOoo!

At the start of the year we had 100 tutorials... so I think we are making excellent progress!
PS. Two are in the pipeline at the moment. I'll have them online as soon as I can stop falling asleep at my desk...

Although there are a lot of registered members only a small portion of them actually post in here every day. That way you get to know the members that do post pretty well. That's the main thing I like about Biorust. Friendly and warm community where everyone is welcome.

Well, I was thinkin' maybe a day designated when we could all meet up and chat live. Sure we are all spread out everywhere, but select a day, an appropriate timeframe, and I'll be there, I might even bring c.a.k.e.

Sounds a fantastic idea actually! After the next newsletter there will be a cull of dead user accounts, but beyond that we should be well on our way to 20k users.
PS. I've now worked out how the cull will work. I've got a script working out 5.5.0 bounces (i.e. e-mail name not existing, etc) and correlating them to usernames. These accounts will be purged - all others will just have a black mark put against them and will only be eligible for deletion if they give 2 more bounces for any reason in the following fortnight.
