Ive done a IP search on an IP address, and no no no I promise to god I am not stalking anyone. People have gave me sh*t and they think im trying to stalk this person. But its so not that. Trust me. I looked up the IP address and it says the region is new jersey.. city mountainside.. would that mean this person lives in new jersey or could have just purchased their mobile phone there and the internet service on the phone is based out of nj? im confused. i know its a moblie phone because I just do. lol.

Hmmm... that is a very confusing WHOIS - its certainly not clear who owns what. No need to worry about this sort of info though - WHOIS data is public domain and ANYONE can access it. You might try to use the WHOIS tool over on www.netsol.com though - its a (tiny) bit more informative... but not much!

WHOIS info can also be spoofed or hidden but I think you need to have your own name server to do that. So ISPs can, frex.
