Dealing with spam...
Lately I have been noticing a large increase in the amoutn of speams my inbox is getting. I really am getting tired of it and would like to know soem good tools for catching it, but I don't want any of my e-mail not gettign through, either. So, I need some good resourcees.. oh, and it needs to be free because I'm flat broke right now.

What do you use for e-mail? Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook / Outlook Express?
I use Hotmail, I know there's feature there were you can block the spam. You can raise the filter levels, or you can just block the spam from the sender.
Although, I don't get much spam at all. I'm surprised since my e-mail is all over the web. My inbox is about 80% full right now because I get lots of e-mail from people I know, newletters, and devotionals. No real spam.

You switched your nickname from TekVex to Yuneek in AIM and everything, an e-mail switch wouldn't be bad either.

My e-mail is Yuneek@Earthlink.net ....... ?
But anyway, my new AIM is rewindeffect - I changed it today due to some serious hacking, prank calling and threatening problems towards me. Proper authorities have been contacted and I'm not allowed to say anymore than this. Nikki was really worried, though... weird stuff.
Anyway, if you all need me, that is the new AIM.

Doesn't Thunderbird have anti-spam controls? Or do they not work for you?
And im sorry to hear about your problems I hear that kinda thing happens alot on the internet, but i've never actually known someone who it's happened too.

Not easy when your life is based off of it. I hate e-mail, but all of my important stuff knows this e-mail.

It's not that easy to change email. I decided to use evan@evdawg.com as my primary email just last week, changing from evdawg@dellmail.com . It was epecially hard to change it for different websites, forums, etc. Well, not hard, but time consuming and boring.
