I'm currently on a 2048/320 Kbps connection, but I'm thinking about switching to another provider and upgrading it a little bit... if everything goes well I should get 8192/1024 Kbps.

Then I can finally host my own server for the best game there is: Delta Force - Black Hawk Down!!!

I'm sitting on a 56k modem. The only reason that I'm not using a DSL connection is that my parents won't pay for the higher price (and i can afford it),

But really, all i think i'm missing out on is 1) download big files, which i don't find myself needing to download often. 2) downloading music, which i wouldn't do anyways 3) online gaming, which i do miss.

Oh well!

I'm on 1mbit cable myself, and its fairly nippy. The UK doesn't have the best internet infrastructure in the world, but mass-broadband is ok.

PS. Sweden's 10mbit lines make me soooo jealous!!!

1mbit United States Cable (COX Communications) It works for me, better then the crappy CompuServe connection I had prior to it.

wow, I didn't think regular internet could go that fast. I i didn't know sweden had 10mbit connenctions. That amazing. 600kb/s whoa. Jeez. I'm being blown away over here. Thats more than 150 times faster than me.

Trust me, it's depressing come home from the 100mbps connection over at school. Then sitting at my desk using a 28.8kbps connection.

hmm, I use the internet in 3 different place primarily.
1.) School, T1. No clue the speed.
2.) Home at school. 26400 - 28800 kps, dial-up, blah.
3.) Another home lol. 2mbs/500ish-kbs cable.
My best friends have become the 2 128 meg jumpdrives I carry in my pocket to carry stuff back and forth.
