Adobe certifications

I'm curious how many of you out there have Adobe certifications?
How important are they out there in the real world?
Any info on what the tests are like, would be interesting to hear.

All the info you need is at the Adobe website. Adobe wants you to become certified and will provide you with as much help as you need. They have a section that lists the areas of knowledge and sample questions. There is an explanation of the exam itself as well. It is not uncommon for someone to have to repeat the exam. Remember, the test is written info not you actually performing a task. You must be able to verbalize the procedure, and that is what causes problems for some people.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info and the link, I need to check it out. I use PS and Illustrator both. Although I consider myself an amateur at best with both of them.
I guess there aren't to many people that are certified(judging from the response to my question) or else not to many people are reading this forum.
Am I to assume that the certification is not that improtant in the job field?

Quite the opposite. The certification is extremely important. You can find a listing at Adobe.com for all those who are ACE and it is broken down by software programs. The ACE allows you to offer your services to others and they can be assured that you know what you are doing. Often Adobe holds conferences, distributes beta products, and prepublished books to their ACEs for review before anyone else ever even sees them.

When you see someone's name with the ACE attached, they are very special individuals.

For more info you should definitely check-out the website. What you receive in return from Adobe is much more than what the fee you pay to take the certification testing.

Good luck, be sure to let us know if you decide to take the test, we can all urge you on to victory!!!
