Domain Name

Ok, I own www.ecntrcbeauty.org well I canceled it, and the hosting company said that it dont expire for another 2 months I think. I was going to just buy another hosting plan and just keep up with that one but im kinda iffy of the name already. I might just use it still.. but I wanted to know how you guys choose your domain names? anything special? And if you have your own site, who do you host it through?? Thanks..

I just use nicknames and try to include Bub in the name ... I own http://www.bubster.org (nickname) and http://www.bubsbox.com (bought it to use as a file upload service. Haven't put it into effect yet though).

Just try to think of something catchy that you like

Finding a good name is extremely hard! I think short names always look better though. How about ecntric.org or something?

Oh, and I am currently hosted by www.amenworld.com (but seriously considering www.1and1.co.uk) - both are pretty darned fine companies.

I've been using my nick everywhere for a couple of years, and I like the sound of it so I used it. A friend of mines hosting my site. I agree with M0g on the short name thing, I think it should be as short as realistically possible.. one word etc if you can. I hate this-that-and-the-other.com type adresses. and it needs to be interesting so it sticks in peoples memories.. and again one word

yeah see it is hard to remember because you have to remember the spelling.. i had this name in mind but i forgot it.. we were in the car.. so that sucked. i tried just eb.org and it told me that its too short, somebody already has beauty.org i think, but we'll see.. i need some coffee.. and ill start to think..
