Where do you go for new ideas?

I usually mooch around DA, but there must be better places.

what sorta inspiration you looking for? I get mine from everywhere, things I see on tv, just cruising around the net, things I see in books etc.

I get a lot of inpiration from listening to people talk, and watching them act. The majority of my work now is trying to capture something that I have seen in a person or group of people.

Also look out for new ideas. If you think to yourself and say, "hey, it would be cool if ______", then search the web and see if was done. If not, try it yourself. It also helps to write down ideas when they come to you, also be very detailed when taking notes, it will help you recreate the ideas you had before.

at the same time though, rough notes can give more life than writing a detailed thing and sticking too it

Bleh, I knew there was something important I'd forgotten to add. I meant as in ideas for website interfaces and / or colour schemes.

And yes, I am a prolific note-taker.
