I think, by far, that Winamp is the classiest player.

Windows media player is still my favorite for real MP3's or movies.
I use Irfanview for some easy sounds like .wav, irfanview is soo simple.

I use iTunes, and almost everything else that comes with the iLife package. I've never heard of Winamap before though.

Wowzers... where have you been?! Winamp is a really popular one -- especially about 5 years ago when nothing else was out there.

I literally have four or five media programs installed on my laptop...Winamp is generally what I use for music and certain types of video, and there's some that only RealPlayer can open, and I use RealPlayer to rip CDs since it rips to MP3 format. I have Quicktime for SOME reason, and Windows Media Player came default.

...I really need to get some programs offa here...

iTunes, at least it retains my music library- dunno why, but I REALLY have that sense of security that I have all my music in iTunes.
Maybe its my iPod.
As for skinning, I use a skin (forgot what's the name) through the Multi-Plugin. The differences are minor though.
