Doom: The Movie!

The Doom movie is almost here! Yay!
Starring The Rock! Co-starring all the bad ol' monsters that made Doom 3 THE game to be seen dead with! There's no denying the fact...Doom 3's scary. Even I admit to more than a few tense moments!
Now, in it's silver-screen incarnation, the Doom movie is going make us all slaves of the franchise all over again! Bliss!
Featuring a radical first-person perspective, the movie's all set to make history!

aren't the monsters in doom 3 the same as in doom and doom 2 just in 3d?? I personally got peed off with doom 3 to much same was dissapointing i just want them to make a half life movie now that would be sweet as pie!

Anyway, discussions are on about making a Half-Life movie, so you may yet get your wish.

I sure hope they cast Charlie Sheen as Gordon Freeman. With a slight bit of facial hair, he looks shockingly like Gordon! And he's done action films too!

PS. The DOOM movie has the potential to be good... but it could also be totally PANTS. Its not set in hell - the monsters are MUTANTS! Hmmm...

In the game he does, yeah. I think the movie is gonna be entirely set with mutants instead of soul-sucking demons though... :/

If I wasnt married.. Id like to get with the rock! although he could be my cousin or uncle.. all samoans are related! haha.. not sure if I want to see it.. when someone does please let me know on a scale of 1 - 10 how scary it is.. im a wuss at scary movies..

Alone in the dark : the game --> stupid movie
House of the dead : the game --> stupid movie
Resident Evil : the game also --> extrem stupid movie

So hows about Doom 3,will it good?i`m tired of these kinds of movies

it looks like it would be good. looks action packed but ive only seen the preview like once.. The Rock was on I think it was either CNN or MSNBC and they showed a clip but thats about it.. is it suppose to like scary??

I really hope it isn't a big disapointment and the BFG better be crazy! Im a major fan of doom and im sick and tired of bad directors turning great games into auful movies!

From what I saw on the trailer, the movie reproduces most of the good stuff on the game, inclusive of the BFG and the FPS perspective. The major difference is the team-based storyline. You play alone in the game, without a team, but the Rock is a team-leader in the movie.

I was watching the Daily show and they had the Rock on there... he brought his BFG ^^ It really was a BFG... lol

The movie might be okay. Though I personally can't play Doom3... around the point where the demons come out and everyone is dying... I get really freaked out ^^ Plus I always get lost, that's why I can't do shooter games. lol.
