I'm just hoping that M$ retains a semblance of stability in this new windows version. I mean, I remember NT - it was WONDERFULLY stable. Then came Win2000... which was pretty good too, but not quite as stable with some setups... and the same successively with WinXP. These fancy visuals better not mean that my PC resets when i'm working in PhotoShop... or i'll be one very annoyed kitty!

I like the look of Vista, but until it is proven stable I think I'll stick with XP and use the Windowblinds Vista skin. Which is quite nice.

Microsoft has a history a few good releases, followed by a bad one, they cannot afford to screw up this release since linux and apple are gaining more market then ever.

I see vista as being a good release, but there will be issues, there always are.

As soon as "Longhorn" became "Vista", I started to regain a LITTLE more faith in Microsofts new baby...but I'm still skeptical and keeping with my XP for a while.

Does anyone know where I can see the screenshots of Vista? I haven't seen them yet.

Nothing can get the image of the product launch seminar for Vista out of my head though. They had a cowboy bloke trying to rave on about how vista was more 'visionary' than their old name, Longhorn. When watching it I was more interested in the guy's wild west attire though... I half expected him to go out and shoot the sherrif or something...
