Blogging - Service or Personal?
I finally have a personal hosting support PHP and MySQL,and my little knowledge on PHP is enough for me to build a blog page, but i still wonder which is better?
I`m currently using Journalspace.com service, good but doesn support designning layout.Xanga support it but lack on speed and advertising.
If i use my own blog,i have to face that there are no friend circle around.and no customer support lolz
So give me a hand pls.

Blogging is the lowest form of communication second to morse code.
Sorry but I havn't got a clue about blogging what so ever. I don't like blogging because it is just an open diary and if I remember so diarys are really boring. people just state what they ate for breakfast. It is a really sad way to document your life through an open diary. I would far rather look at someones blog that only contains the key points that have happened to them that year, it would far more interesting than plodding through crap.
But hey it is up to you. Its your life document it, if you want to. I would actually host it with some one. If you want nerds to read it then I guess you stand a much better chance than doing it on your own.
Good luck.

I'm a heathen and use Livejournal myself. Yes, I know the admins are all a bunch of tards, but I've also never had any problems with it, and it seems ultra-stable! Oh, plus you can alter the design as much as you like! It may have less bells and whistles than competitors, but at least the features it does have seem to have very few bugs!

I blog on myspace.com about all kinds of random crap. It's not as personal as livejournal.com, but it works well for me.

If you like to test yourself, build on on your own..
Otherwise, give up and use another service, and remember the failure until the day you die!

Hey,after a few days testing,i`ve realized JournalsSpace.com is really cool, betetr than LiveJournal,Blogger or Yahoo360,it allows user to customize their layout for free and unlimited access,if u want features that dont have on JS,then just use an iframe link to personal hots,so cool
