Saddam's Capture

I'm sure everybody knows about it ... unless you live in a box.

You can found out tons of information at: http://www.cnn.com about his hide-out (spider holes), etc.

So what do you think should happen to him?

*Note: This is a highly controversal issue and I don't want any flaming to arise. If something starts, I'll close this topic immediately.

I feel he should held accountable for every loss of soldier and civilian lives, even his own people.

I dont think he should be killed, but held in a democracy ran court, and face judgement for he denied his own people

I feel that he should be let off or placed in exile, he is too dangerous.

I feel that they should have left him with the overgrown beard and the dirty clothing.

I feel that this is the end of one of the worse dictators of our time, now is time to get that son of a b**tch bin laden..

I feel that m0g is the rightful ruler of the world (oops.. wrong topic )

I'm not sure what's going to happen to him. The death sentence is too easy I think. It's an easy way out.

It's a hard thing to decide.

k i had to think long and hard before i started to post the obvious response of some one my age.

i think he should be left abandoned in the middle of his home town Tecrite. The people who he once ruled should do what they feel is necessary to release their rage. Come on guys the only reason i hate this man is because he was a bast*rd to his people. So i think the people should seek revenge in what ever they feel is necessary to calm thier nerves.

The only problem is.. 5-0... As soon as you let him free on the streets on Tikrit, all the people will be scared again and bow down before him. Not to speak of all the rebels that are still active in that area. Before he can set one foot to the ground he will be picked up by one of his men and brought somewhere 'safe'.

I think the best way to punish him(and I believe it is the way they are gonna do it) Is to give him a trial in Irak, and be charged with all the cruel things he did in his 45 years as dictator of Iraq.

They have allready set up some kind of court that convicts those who have participated in all the terror of the past 50 years.

And I'm glad they did just that... Normally all the international 'warcriminals' are brought to the Netherlands because we have an internatyional court here that is built on neutral grounds. And if they brought Saddam here, who knows what kind of people come along for the ride... Not to speak of Bin Laden and his posse, he was a 'friend' of Saddam.(He was invited to some of the parties Saddam has thrown over the years).
