As always, when google does something, they do it right -- it's an awesome map.

Edit:
Google need to get with it and make high resolution pics of the place I was raised...
This is the closest pic they have and the map websites can never get us exactly pin pointed... the black dot the red arrow is pointing to is my house.

I heard about the satellite photo feature for the new monopolized Google and I'm thinking their tyrannous rule needs to end.

The google version is good but it only offers close up pictures of the US. This covers pretty much all the world, I think.

The good news, they are not like Microsoft, and aren't rampaging around killing competitors, they actually work with competitors to keep the competition up and running..
