Never Ever Join A Gaming Clan

Never join a gaming clan coz when you get to the top you end up at the bottom pretty fast

I'm thinking of leavnig mine there's no fun in it anymore and I really don't wanna be a gamer !!

anyway pointless post i needed to vent and i need to get back to what i suposedly do best lol

Clans are only fun to make fun of... I used to run a Counter-Strike server and I'd change my name to random clan names of the people playing just to hear them whine -- people get so uptight about those few little letters. *shrug*

yep it dose get a bit up it's own backside i mean i like playing online games just wish i could do it with the same people without the BS that comes with it

I know what you mean - I've been in a number of clans, but I've only really found one that I actually like (i.e. my current one). There's nobody in it under 18, and the average age of members is actually 35. Because we just play for fun and ignore the urge to be total 'tards it keeps the games fresh. We never get off the middle of the league table, but its certainly more fun than being in a high-flying clan where losing is a seriously stressful affair. I mean... its only a game folks...

clans can fun when its with people you know in real life.
me and a few friends started ninja-pirates 2 years ago and we still play. constant phrases such as "prepare to be borded" "arrrg" and "kamikaze" make the game alot more fun.
just remember that the game is only as fun as you make it.

I found the same problem with a few of my gaming clans. It all became about competition and "who's the best?". Too many "kids" I knew were getting arrogant over something as trivial as a game.

I managed to find a clan with people aged 20 to 34 and I realized how much of a difference it makes. I no longer have to deal with inner clan drama and teen angst except for a few occasions when one pre-pubescent punk ass sneaks in under an alias to cause trouble. Playing for fun is so much better....especially when one of your teammates talks like a pirate before he kills somebody.
