I'm going to start a web design company within a month or so. I wanted to know, what do you expect from a professional web design company.

This is what I have so far:

Name: Failure-Designs

Services: Pre-made templates, Custom templates, Custom web design, as well as custom coding including PHP

Host: http://www.simplehost.com

----

That's all I have right now. What other services do you think I should offer?

Prices are going to be relatively cheap.

Pre-made templates - $5-$20
Custom templates - Prices Vary
PHP coding - Prices vary
Website design - Prices vary

Once I set up my site I'm going to contact three sites and ask them if they'd like to have their site redesigned. I'm pretty sure they'll say yes.

Anything else I should add?

A name change, I dont think anyone would have their site designed by a company with the word failure... that is for sure.

Ok, here something that you could go for, i was thinking about doing this for my site but mine will just be downloaded for free, and I think it'd be a great idea for you, since you seem to be half decent

with photoshop and your trying to make money, and this would be a nice addition to your custom web design, or you could just sell em with or for a higher price.

Custom made Avatars, signatures, 88x31 buttons, wallpapers, and even skins!

Let's say you are designing a puple themed site called "purple world"

they pay you to design a purple metallic site. If they want, for more money you design a package of avatars, sigs, and a wallpaper and maybe winamp or something skin that match with the design of the site

So then purpleworld, if they want, can have a section of "download purpleworld skins, and stuff"

lol, I'm in webdesign class. You can tell I'm not doing anything. I come up with great ideas in here though.

Now I need to e-mail my partner (who is going to do the coding) and ask him about it.

Yes, much better, and if you get any programming jobs that you or your partner get lost on, I am a freelance developer, drop me a line.. I am cheaper then most..

nah the best name would be extacylabs.com or anything with extacy sound kewl. I would expect a higher amount of money for a design, but if you are doing prices like that i wouldnt mind you redesigning my site. Could that be possible?

If you want my personal opinion, I wouldn't make one at all. I'm not sure about the quality of your work, but almost 75% of all "web design specialists" have terrible websites. I mean make you puke until your throat starts to bleed kind of ugly. I just don't want another fifty websites designed by people like that. If you don't suck, then by all means go ahead.

This is true, their are a lot of design "companies" that are ran by teenagers who have no formal quality training, and it turns out to be a waste of time, why do you think I am freelance.. no website, and I get jobs that are asked of me, all I have to do is market myself

You see, I'm very professional in my work. At a glance, people think I'm a mature adult. I could get by with this design company, people won't think it is run by a teenager, rather a professional.
