Happy Turkey to day to you all too!
In my house, we open our doors to the people we know that have no familys in the area. As restaurant owners, my husband and I are well known for our Turkey dinners! Madison is a Colledge town, and alot of our waitstaff are students, from out of town, so we have them come to our house, and we play Mom and Dad for the day. It always ends up fun, one year, we invited a family that was from Syria, it was their first Thanksgiving in the States, they brought 22 family members!!! lol.. Lucky I had made 2 turkeys and a lamb roast.. I had 2 carcasses left over! Not even enuf for a darn turkey sandwich the next day (my personal favorite) so.. I had to go to the store and buy another turkey and cook it, just so I could have my stupid sandwich!
A good time was had by all, and it really was a thanksgiving to remember for us all.
There.. that is my favorite thanksgiving story.. what's yours???

Well, we don't have thanksgiving over here in the UK, but I hope all of you in America had a good day anyway! I've personally spent the last 100hrs 'on-call'... and its all due to end tomorrow. I'll definately be offering thanks to the god of mercy and sleep by this time tomorrow...

Oooh you're so kind. What type of restaurant do you have? And where is it?

@ m0g - Bah that really sucks. I'm glad it's all over soon though.

We have a french restaurant.. in Madison Wisconsin. I just tried to check my website, was going to put it here for you to see, but for some reason it is down.. have to do some checking on that.. but when I get it, I will post it. We have had it now for 6 years. Fun, but alot of work. The people in Madison are great tho, and keep us at it.
Hope everyone had a great week!
