Heh ... I feel proud. I beat my old record. Don't ask why I took the test again ... my friend was talking about typing or something. Something weird. o.O

The original BioRUST members can probably remember this thread but I thought I'd post again. I find it interesting to find how fast people type.

Taking the Learn2Type.com test I had:
110 WPM

The world record on a QWERTY keyboard is 180 WPM. On a Dvorak keyboard it is 225 WPM. o.O

25wpm minus 2 points for spelling mistakes so 23wpm. but then I do have a headache and I do feel stressed. :P

Edit/ second time round I got 35wpm.

I got 55wpm with perfect accuracy (even the pieces of blatantly terrible english, incorrect punctuation, and poor grammar). I guess i'm a lil' bit slow because I use a MS natural keyboard... and that emphasises comfort over extreme speed...

I am not that fast, especially when coping text, if I am writing it on my own, I am much faster, and could probably manage close to 60-70 WPM.. and I am programmer, and writing code should never be rushed, so I do take my time to read what I write.. lol.
