how to achieve the matrix fighting effect done in the Xiao Xiao flash movies

hey everyone, long time no see. i was just watching a flash movie and I saw the famous matrix effect bullet time effect that was done in the Xiao Xiao flash vidoes if anyone remembers. many flash animators have done this in the past and i always wondered how this effect and be done. does anyone know how it can be accomplished or can lead me down a path where i can find out or learn? thanks for ur time

I think are various ways to do this depending on amount of detail in your movie that needs to be displayed... I have seen it done with just some good animation within Flash when objects were 2 deminsional (like the fighting sitck figures) and I have seen the use of Swift 3D to create the same illusion. Just break the animation down into smaller segments and think about what is required to generate the effect little by little.
