How to save as SWF.??

I've got Macromedia Flash Professional 8,
but when i made a flash thing, i can only safe as fla. and sometrhing else, i need SWF!! =S

Hey Lauranne

You will need to "Export" | "Export Movie" to get flash to compile your movie into an SWF file...

*** MAKE SURE you don't forget to save your .fla file to or you won't be able to go back and make changes.

.SWF is a compiled version of your movie like an .EXE is a compiled version of a program...

the .FLA is your source.
