I have used Paintshop Pro for years, and have had the opportunity to become a Photoshop owner just recently...wow what a difference between the 2! I am now hooked and want to learn as much as possibly about PS.

I am involved with 2 websites, one about crime, the other is an open forum. I have made icons graphics buttons logos and such with PSP XI for the forums. I like to change the skins on the open forum for holidays.

I am proud to say we run Vbulletin on both forums, so I feel at home with the layout here!

I look forward to learning from the great people here, I know that I have a great deal to absorb and hope to one day be good enough to share some of my own creations with all of you!

For now Ive just started so the quality aint great or anythning, but gotta start somewhere I guess :)
I spend most of my days working in Photoshop and related programs doing alot of picture enhancement/retouching and also some ads etc.
Would be great to meet ppl with the same interests as they are pretty rare where I live.

What else, well yeah I live in Norway, faaar north so after a summer with sun all the time (aka midnight sun) and a very hot summer, we are now approaching a very dark time of year (and probably alot of snow too hehe). So my time in front of the computer will most likely increase even more.

besides the "work" i do Im currently looking into making alot more tutorials, Im also very active posting cool design links on twitter ( www.twitter.com/hildy77 ) and Ive started working on my own design blog that I hope will go live in September :)

I mostly enjoy creating composites but thatīs partly to cover up the fact that Iīm not a very competent photographer. Aiming, clicking and thinking positive thoughts just about sums up my technique. By extracting, pasting, blending and relying more on composition than expertise I usually manage to disguise that fact, but seeing some of the professional looking unadorned photos in the gallery here has made me think itīs about time I stopped fooling around and started learning how to do it properly. Another problem is that after years of using only Corel software I recently changed to Photoshop and itīs opened a whole new world of possibilities but it also entails hours of hard work learning how to use it . At present Iīm still at the experimental stage and wishing there were more than 24 hours in a day to read all the tutorials out there.
