Cinema 4D

Hello, I'm new.

Whenever I change the angle of the camera or its position in C4D my objects get destorted. How can I stop this?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome Fimus. I know nothing about modeling, but there are people here that can either help you or point you in the right direction.

Anyway, I just wanted to welcome you. I hope you find this place likeable and stick around.

Like I said, I know nothing about modeling, but I did a search and came up with a thread talking about angle changes of camera and distortion of work. I don't know if this will help, but perhaps if this isn't the problem then maybe it is possible that one of the guys in that thread can help.

that camera distortion you are talking about is perfectly normal. This is probably when you have a really big object and when you move at certain angles it looks as if it has been stretched. I know this happens because it happens to me in a different 3d app. It is perfectly normal.

*5-0's way of fixing this problem
switch to top view,

zoom in pretty closley to the object

now just move the camera how you wish.

This usually helps for me. This distortion you are talking about isn't actually distortion it is the accurate proportions of the model at that certain camera angle.

hope that helped,
-5-0
