Explination

can someone explain to me what Cinema 4d really is.... i know how 2 use 3d max ok i learned alittle in school But how much of a diffrence is there in product and in like the layout and how easy it is to use

Well, they are both 3D programs! They share a lot of functionality, but from what I can gather from others (i'm NOT a 3D modeller), Cinema 4D is easier to use yet 3DSMax has more support from external programmers and is the preferred program out of the two for professional productions.

I think it's more of which you prefer. Cinema4D is ofter considered a toy compared to 3dsmax but you can check out this carbot commercial which is made with cinema4d and then think again. I use cinema4d and I just love it. I haven't used 3dsmax ever so I can't tell you anything about it. It's true that you can get better support from the community for 3dsmax but cinema4d is growing popularity all the time so try out them both and then decide which one you want to start using.
