Well, I get a chance to get more people practice. I volunteered to take photos again at a nearby corn festival which has pretty much grown into a fair. The photos are just close-ups of people for the web but the really cool thing is I was also asked by our head staff photographer to get a couple feature photos that they can use in the newspaper too. The staff photographers are too busy to cover the event so they asked me to cover and get 2 nice and "cute" photos. Kinda cool because I will...

The different settings for aperture and shutter speed and their relation to one another has finally sunk into my head. Many times, I am too focused on the shot to think about what my settings are.... I know... scary isn't it. But, now that I am getting more practice and checking the settings to see what I used... its starting to finally "click"... and yes the pun was intended lol.
