got out the holiday deco boxes out of the garage yesterday and lo and behold: it had been the summer home for a box of mice.
they totally ate one of my wifes decorative santas and chewed on the stocking my grandmother knit for me when i was a baby. ive had since 1970 (only a lil bit, its actually saveable without any work)
some of the salt/dough onaments from my wife and I's first christmas together got partially eaten. (hope they got salt poisoning)
but all in all: It could have been a lot worse. Im thankfull that we only lost 2 decos and one ornament.
oddly enough they didnt touch the hanukkah stuff at all.
oh yeah I guess I should mention that my wife is Jewish. im not. so we celebrate both holidays.
she dosent keep kosher though so we can still have a christmas ham.
