blah blah blah.....
well not much to say today, moved all my firewood from a pile to a stack.
went to a punk store called cash for chaos with my son and bought a cd by "dork"
since my birthday is tomorrow, my wife took me to see baby iguanas so if i wanted to pick one out i could. the first one bit me.. haha. it ws a male and let go after a few. i think that the pet guy was suprised at how well i took it. i just let it hold on until it was ready to let go. alas, they all seemed a bit too flighty and they had burn marks from heat lamps on them.
years ago i had an iguana named iggy.
she was so tiny when i briught her home but i had her for many years.
she went everywhere with me and even chased my bosses cat up a tree.
loved her to pieces.
one day she bean to get tremors in her hands. it was about time for her to lay her yearly eggs and i did not realize thet she was low on calcium in her body until it was too late. by the time i recognized the tetnia (muscular symptoms of low blood calcium. (example, if you flick your arm the muscle snaps back to position immedialy. with tetnia, it is slowed.)) it was too late.
long story short. my baby passed on at the vets office on fathers day 2000.
she was over 4 feet long and i had her since a baby. she went everywhere with me.
we used to go to a bagel shop and share berry bagel.
yeah i know that it was not the best diet.she got plenty of greens. but she also LOVED pizza.when the pizza guy would come we knew he was arriving before he knocked because she would run to the cage door and begin banging at the door for pizza and then insist on the first piece.
i also have seen her put away a whole jack in the box burger.
on the day i decided to take her to the vet she gave me her last of her kisses. she would flick her tongue on my lips.
god how i cried.
i just knew.
the next day the vet called and gave me the news.
i probably have more stories than disk space about her. see picture.
anyway...
i didnt like any if the igs at the pet shop so we didnt get one. the rebuilt cage sits empty still.
I really didnt want to get a baby and have it die because of previous bad treatment.
what i really want is to adopt an adult female.
i know that there isnt too many biorustians in vegas, but to anyone who knows of a female up for adoption i will pay to get her.
moving on.
when i wake up tomorrow i will be 37 years OLD.

the weather here is cooling down so i may finally go out and do a photo shoot in the desert.
my tortoise "tippy" looks like he may be settling down soon to hibernate for the winter. right now he is digging a hole under a bit of the concrete slab that adjoins his yard. so i wont have to worry too much about him until spring.
its kinda odd having a "pet" thats older than me. he seems to know it too. gives me these looks like "whatever kid"
my guppies continue to breed out of control, and my 20 pound cat is bugging on me so i guess ill log off before i bore all yall too much.
