our computer plotter is acting up at work. or, at least i think its the plotter. prints autocad files fine but ask it to print a pdf from reader or acrobat and whoa: things get all stoopid.
it spools the files and then freezes up. have to use taskmanager and close acrobat. then it prints fine.
but the title blocks won't print. (on the small printer they will and it dosent freeze up.)

I think its a bad driver file.

I'm not all that happy with it because I have to get up and down to keep checking it. which ordinairily wouldnt be a big deal.

but this weekend I stepped on a nail. not really that bad actually, I was walking down the steps on my back deck and stepped down onto a nail that had worked its way up out of the wood plank. it didnt really go in, just kinda took a chunk out of the front of my foot near my toes.
you know, that point that you roll your foot on whenever you take a step.

its more bothersome than painfull. just enough to make me walk funny which in turn uses muscles that i dont usually use, so now my calves hurt even though the nail gouge dosent.

my truck drives funny, only on the way home. after i get off the freeway it lurches along like the gas is running out. but if i get on it, it runs fine. and after a few miles or so the problem clears up. go figure.
but i may have fixed that. I think it was the EGR valve vacuum line. thats what it was last time.
its what i get for using fishtank air line and that 1/4 inch garden drip line instead of making the trip to a parts store and buying the right vacuum line for a buck.

I'm gonna blame it on that somebody has a voodoo doll, and is using it.
