I often have thought about a blog, but never have wanted to bother... I guess spending the time doing it seems to be a waste to me instead of doing actual work.

Perhaps though I'm looking at this wrong. It's healthy to get things off your chest and it provides a creative outlet to help get you in the mood to work more efficiently.

Either way, keep an eye out because I see no reason why it's not worth a shot to throw some things up here.

Today I looked...

so the only reason that i am able to post right now from work is that im using firefox. explorer dont like me at work. keeps crashing.
any way, this weekend I will put up some before and after pics as well as some middle steps.
perhaps i will show off some of the other macgyver fabrication that i have done around my home as well. people tend to raise thier eyebrows about my ideas until they see them. a lil for iinstance: when i moved in the house had this god awful red shag carpet...

Being the lifetime student that I am, I spent the last week revising like crazy and worrying tons about the driving theory test I took at 3pm today. I guess the crux of my woes was that they changed the standards expected only two days ago and asked I sit 15 more questions in the MCQ part of the test.

Anyway, I need not have worried... I passed the exam with a mark of 100%. LOL!

Yup, its all done and dusted! The brand new colocation server that will form the backbone of Biorust's future has left for the server farm and should be fully operational before the weekend. I must admit I am very nervous, however, because though I may have plenty of Linux experience, creating a server from scratch is entirely different. Nevertheless I have followed the ISPs instructions to the letter regarding IP & DNS settings, so I'm quite confident there will be no hiccups... at least until...

The requests for holiday graphics are coming in and it's damn hard to get into the happy, cheerful, sweet, cuddly, warm and fuzzy Christmas mood while you're manipulating dripping blood on some hideous face for a Halloween costume party poster. Somewhere in between lies some bad luck Tom Turkey stuffed with colorful bows and ribbons and dripping blood from a fresh gash across it's scrawny neck.
