Went to my first Porcupine Tree concert last Tuesday.

Just got back from Centerparcs, and I'm glad to say that I had a pretty good time! Me and Alex opted for a restful sort of holiday as opposed to a busy activity-based one and it worked well. Perhaps the only active thing we did was horseriding, which was scary and cool at the same time. Well there hasn't been much to say for the past few days,
I have painted some of the miniatures...bought some more paint But for the rest there is not much about that.

Then I've finaly begun the modeling of the complete scene that contains the model seen here, It will be a huge space lab, will keep you guys posted...

my wife drug me to a used book store today to get a copy of "tales of a fourth grade nothing" for a family friends child.
my son asked if they had "metamorphosis" and the book lady had no idea who franz kafka was!
I walked away with a calvin and hobbes book and a bit of pride in that my family and i knew of and had read a great author that she had never heard of.
if there are any kafka fans out there: read "at the penial colony" its quite odd....

i had put up pictures of my fireplace in various stages of construction.
the other day i wanted to show it to a friend at work and they (the thumbnails) didnt link to anything.
