I just finished with my pc spring cleaning ritual of blowing out the whole thing with compressed air (cringe if you must but im talking about high volume air, not that crap in a can! the air compressor in my garage has a moisture filter so I dont have to worry about spritzing condensation all over my board) gently blowing off everything inside and making sure to really spend some quality time...

Over the past several months my Mac (iMac G5) has been acting up. Programs began to crash and load / close very slowly, opening or saving a large file could take up to 3 minutes, the fan would be working overtime, the external firewire drive would drag (and I do mean drag). As time went on, my keyboard wouldn't be recognized on boot-up and I'd have to unplug/plug it back in every time (I blamed the Microsh*t keyboard). well, due to financial constraints, I will not be able to go online for a while.

and if that wasnt good enough as well, the company that i work for will be implementing a firewall soon and i wont be able to come here from work.

my camera is busted, the cat knocked it off a shelf the other day. I will buy another one later.

my kid corrupted my harddrive last night. all files gone!!!!!

If I play my cards correctly, I will soon be in college this Fall for a degree in Illustration...
I just hope the college setting won't stifle my creativity. I am actually somewhat worried about my career choice, I could go into film more since I have some background and training in that field; but I guess it's just the child in me that still wants to become a comic book artist/cartoonist.

I severely hope I am making the right decision, I've made enough mistakes in the past...
