An old co-worker of hers had come in to the ER with an infection and ended up not making it (apparently she didn't have a spleen to help fight the infection). Thanksgiving is this Thursday and in lieu of the usual Tom Turkey dinner with all the usual fixin's I'm preparing what's become our traditional T'Day dinner. I don't particularly like to cook. Not that I can't, I'm not half bad, I just don't care to do it. But on special holidays I kinda look forward to making a big fancy dinner. Here's what's on the menu for Thursday:
