It's been ten years since my last eye test. My husband decided after watching me hold small print at arms length (embarrassing at a restaurant) that it was time to go again. Today I'm wearing my new glasses with no-line Bi-Focals. I feel so old. I can't see anything. The gate was left open. It took all of 10 seconds for my hounds to notice and bolt. Instead of going to the left, which is the way we go when we take walks (on a leash) they went right, which takes them to a very busy 4 lane. Greyhounds don't know about cars and traffic - they know running.

Over the past several months my Mac (iMac G5) has been acting up. Programs began to crash and load / close very slowly, opening or saving a large file could take up to 3 minutes, the fan would be working overtime, the external firewire drive would drag (and I do mean drag).
