I need a flyer for XXX event, here's the info ... etc.

Email from me:
Do you need an 8.5 x 11 flyer (1, 2, or 4 per page?)
or 4x6 postcard flyer (single or double sided)?
will this be color or black & white?

Mgr:
yes

me:
Which will it be?
8.5 x 11 flyer (1, 2, or 4 per page?)

Mgr:

The printer said they don't have the files yet????

me:
I didn't receive your approval of the adjusted proofs.
I assume they are OK and will send print files to XXXXXX printer.

Mgr:
Received flyers, but where's the poster and banner?

If this happened once and a while - fine - but every freaking day? This email tag can take 10 days! Or more!
I'm working on a dynamic online form for them to fill out, where they can't send without everything being filled out, but there are so damn many variables.

AARRGH!

dont hate your boss too much moods, I sorta deal with that daily but my boss is just relaying from someone even more clueless and impatient. i also end up being the go-between with my boss and that impatient person. then my boss talks to Mr. impatient. and tells me what REALLY needs to be done. later, i may get a call from impatient and they want to know why I havent done what they and I talked about.
I forward the call to my boss.
and for the LOVE OF GOD!!!, why dosent anyone understand that we need measurements before we can make things?

I don't have one boss though ... I have 15? 20? Each club has 4 managers and 1 "promotions manager". I mostly deal with the PM's who are usually a bar back or waitress that's promoted after the previous one has quit (or most likely, been fired). So the scenario above is multiplied on a daily basis. It gets even better when a manager sends a request, the PM sends a request and they don't match. It got so bad at one club that the GM (general manager) told me to ignore and delete any requests sent by his PM and only deal with him. That was Great! Wish I could get them all to do that.
