To LOG or to BLOG ( Logging Vs. Blogging ?)
Well i'm not much for writing anything down so i'm thinking what is logging all my readings when taking a photograph all about because we all know the situation will always be different for each individual shot .. Even in digital photography you just never get the same set of hypo situations right..So its a hit and miss situation.. well for Wet photography it is anyway.. actaully its a pain in the aztec when you have to go back and reshoot cause what you thought you got was so off base in the first go around. Besides who wants to sit there and write down Apture and Shutter speed what time of day it was and so on and so forth.. Well, to be honest I just plain forget to do the tedious things because i just wanna shoot shoot shoot... So, yeah there really is good reason to record each shot but am i gonna actually do it .. Well NO.. Duhhhh
and for the very reasons already mentioned. Besides did you ever hear of Ansel Adams keeping a log?.. .. Good question.. huh Well i'm not gonna make this more work than it really should be .. face it.. with old and new school photography we all shoot hundrest of photos in a session or even more.... I do have to say though with Old School my limit is when i run out of roll film.. which could be between 1 and 10 rolls.... I do my own developing which is totally not goof proof ...Nor dose it help when other class mates bend the reels which makes it more difficult to put the film on them while in the dark. Mmmmm I guess i have a lot of pet peeves where the dark room and devoloping rooms are concerned because I usually set up and break down before and after class. Though it seem to me that the rest of these people taking the same class as me would want to learn how to run a wetlab as well....Unfortunatly that cuts down on print time so i usually get like one or two at the most in ,.. mmm .. unless i press the clock and do what i want anyway.. bedamned the instructor.... Its a wonder he puts up with me..
