After spending the weekend e-mailing a rescue clinic we managed to find a new Iguana.

The trip meter tallied 1580 miles when all was said and done. Last Friday we all piled into the car and drove from TN to PA to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. It was a surprise party - and she was surprised first by the party itself, then by the appearance of my brother from TX then me and my crew from TN. Do you ever notice when you try to be sarcastic with people who are equally if not more sarcastic they take you too literally sometimes?

Granted, with some people it's very hard to know whether you're being sarcastic, but I think it brings up an important point that we should never assume the worst of people especially when dealing with a sarcastic conversation.

Or maybe we're so sure of ourselves we forget that other people out there have their own flows or "styles"...

went to 1/2 days at work. no big deal because its for a short time.
thankfully I came home early today.
Garcie, my iguana was in bad times.
when i picked her up she seemed weak, un coordinated, and disoriented.
she couldnt hold herself upright, and seemed to be
behaving post stroke like. it just got worse.
within 3 hours she was gone.
I think she had a stroke.

I wont go into details, but I'm glad I was there with her.
