Just wondered over to the Photographybb.com site today (posted link about free online magazine previously) and downloaded the latest issue of the magazine and to my surprise... one of my photos was top 3 from the last photo assignment about "Indications of Fall". It was an HDR shot of a forest from above. My second published photo of the year for 2008.... kinda feels nice

Back to school. Today they told us a bit about photography, mainly the camera and how to use it. Covering iso values, aperture values and shutter speed. Actually makes sense when someone explains it to you.

So what we did was shoot a couple photo's of each other and see what happened. After that we went outdoor and captured cars in 3 different ways.

1. 1/60 shutter speed while tracking the car
2. 1/500 stationary
3. 1/60 stationary

Damn, my ex boss evaluated my time working at the company. Conclusion is bad! Why! I worked my ass off, i followed every little rule, i did everything they asked, i showed dedication, skill and well, was a little slow and came late a couple times.

What heartless person would rate a person like me below avarage..I learned tons, without messing up, and i did all they wanted. And i pretty much was a first grader! Second grade now, what did they expect?

My darling daughter's boyfriends parents (and an aunt) will be coming down to spend Thanksgiving with us. I rarely cook for anyone but my family (to avoid law suits), but "boyfriend" will probably end up being "husband" at some point anyway, and our visitors will become in-laws. So I'm in the frying pan. The menu will be the same as last year ( Thanksgiving Dinner ) but can I pull it off for 8 people?

My dining table only seats 4, so to accommodate 8 people,...

yay I finally upgraded.
a friend of mine gave me their old pc. its waaay newer than my old one. 2.6ghz and 760 mb of ram. I was running a 900 mhz machine before.
spent some of my morning with a cup of coffee in hand, formatting and reinstalling windows, pshop, autocad, and swapping in my slave drive. put all my personal files onto the slave and then put them onto the new pc. this time it was EASY. all my files, except programs have one main folder (I call it dave's files), with subfolders...
