Blender difficulties

Hello all.

My name is Travis and I'm new to the whole area of 3D modelling. I'm pretty familiar with Photoshop 7 and have becomed acoustomed to it, so using computer designing programs are not a new thing to me, but I'm finding Blender 3d extremly difficult to contend with.

My intentions are plain; to learn the basics of blender to be able to create simple items, then once once I'm acoustomed to it, proceed onto more advanced occupations. By the way, I do not own Cinema 4d.

I have not been able to find any suitable tutorial sites to help with Blender, as most assume you know the basics and show other stuff. So I put to you this, please assist me with my studies of Blender by teacher me the basics, or by suggesting sites which are simple to understand.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Another place to find all kinds of tutorials, including blender tuts and photoshop tuts is Pixel2Life.com. Although you might want to stick with the basics first, but once you've done some basics, and understand the application your working with. You can find all sorts of tutorials at that site.
