I think you should have a link saying "Today's top posters" and have who has posted the most that day, like a top 10. Would be nice, saw it on another forum. Just a thought.

Dunno how it will promote spam. I don't know a good reason for a person wanted to claim the top spot for most posts. If you actually to have that spot and purposefully spam, that's just a case of insecurity. =p

the only feasible way to take care of spam would be to make a few more mods, and possibly some of the original mods into an admin to handle it all..
A top posters list will cause problems.. as they have on many sites before. |

No, a top 10 posters each day is an idea I don't really like. I think the members who already hang out here would think it's cool, but it would just be incentive for new members to post crap on the days where admins havnt already gotten the top spots.
Besides, think about this: do we really need it? I don't really care who posts the most in one day, it's your overall total that counts (sarcasm).
