Subscription

Hello and good evening.
I was looking at finally getting a sub here since I have some extra money and not time. Which is different for me for a change. However when I follow the link to get a payed sub I am told "BioRUST Forums does not have any paid subscriptions available to which you can subscribe." at this link.

Is that the wrong link here, or am I missing something? I would love to be able to actually pay and help pay for some of the time and great help you all have done for myself and everyone else.

Please let me know what I need to do, if there is still a payed service/membership here.

Im afraid that system is currently offline because of an change of ownership....

Hi Sarenne,

The new owner will be doing away with the subscription-based model and making everything free to all. This will probably come into effect with the new design in late december. In the meantime we'll let existing subscribers run down their membership and sort out some sort of compensation for those people still with time on the clock when the new scheme comes into force.

Okay, I can understand that then. Though I did like the idea of contributing that way, but it makes sense and can be easer for people like me.

I do have a question though. The forums seem off to me. In the main catagory it shows that there are 335 posts in this category, yet all i see is this one. There are 101 displayed in the sub forum here. I seem to have this ... difficulty with all the forum categories. Is this just me or are threads being hidden/archived?

Just curious is all.

Um...not sure what you mean. In the BioRUST Specific Threads forum, there are a total of 245 threads (although your figure might be slightly different, as that figure includes deleted threads that only Mods can see) - see attachment.
There are a total of 102 threads in the Tutorial Submission sub-form. Adding those to the 245 threads in the main forum gives you 347. Subtract the deleted ones that you can't see and that'll give you the 335 that is displayed.

I was gong to edit to add another picture. However it seems my edits did not take.

Anyways.. this is how the forums are shown to me. Some may only have one or two posts while others have no posts other then the announcement. Very odd to me.

easy answer sarrene.
if you look dow near the middle bottom, you can see where it says in "display options" to show threads in the last month.
if you change that to: last year or more. it will show more or all the threads listed in the top.

its just been slow here lately.

I do not have a lot online that I can show off, but I do have several sites as well as a gallery that has some of my stuff and a friend or two on there.... Mind you, its not great work at all, not even close. However I do like to draw and create things.

Websites:
House Andronnai (community site- most graphics are mine)
Triad Games (actual site- graphics minus videos are mine)
Dark Relic (its not quite public yet, but soon- all graphics are mine)
Home (an old site i designed last year- owner has done nothing with is or replaced the filler content- however graphics and logos are mine)
Gallery:
Gallery - sketches (8 are not mine here- can you tell which ones are which? Hint: Andronnai and Twins are mine)
Gallery - 3dgraphics (Chair, City, Sword and f9ceba41a34487f... are not mine)

Attached are a few images from my gallery....

Morphcolour was a tutorial I did with a friend showing how to use photoshop with sketches.

I woman was an older picture I did in ulead from scratch. I was not sure what it was going to be untill i started working out the image itself.

Tamlin and Kenneth, thank you for the compliments, though i do not think that they are that great, but im proud of the work none the less. I have seen some AMAZING artists out there that make me smile and cry at the same time.

Kenneth, I have to say though that I am not that young. Sadly, there is more grey in my hair then anything else. My boys are always teasing me. To give an idea, i have a 14, 16, 19 and 27 year old... All boys at that. Hmm.. that might be where my grey has come from.

I will see about possibly getting a few things up. I think that would be cool indeed.
