Couple of ideas

Ok I am a forum hog. I run some forums, I visit about a dozen at least a day. I am forum crazy.

I was wanting to just add my little suggestions to the mix, since I noticed a couple of things

I wish there was a tree to navigate the forums at the bottom of the threads -- once I go through and read something, I do not always want to reply to it, so not having to scroll all the way back up to the top of the page to click back to the contents would be fantabulous!

Also, the IRC java chat client doesn't work my my Firefox. Is that by Java design or can it be implemented?

Anyway just my thoughts

I'm running firefox version 9.2 and the java irc is working with this browser. It worked with the earlier version of fire fox too. Maybe it is something else going on?

Hmmmmm. Nice ideas you have there Runecaster! I've re-enabled the 'forum jump' feature at the bottom of the pages. I dunno quite why I disabled it, but you should find it ultra useful now. OOOH, and what i'd advise is getting a mouse with side-buttons on it. I use them SOOOO much for surfing now I have no idea how i'd cope without them!

PS. You may need to download a distro of Firefox with Java functionality enabled. I use Opera myself and know that it doesn't come with full Java by default, simply because it would add vastly to program bloat.

To get java working, you need the java runtime, get it at:

http://java.sun.com

Think that is it. Once installed, IE, FireFox or any browser should be able to run the applets.

I completely forgot about the Forum Jump. I used to use it all the time, I'm glad it's back. How could I forgot? ><

Ok I didn't want to start a new thread --- but it just occured to me that in PMs there is no 'reply' button. Why is that? Drives me crazy! Can you big mod people add one maybe?

Instead there's a 'Quote' button which is the same thing. It quotes the PM as well, which is helpful.
