Ahhh, the flowers were designed by yours truly. They are perhaps the only bit of the design I didn't design from scratch myself. Originally the flowers came from a royalty-free photo, and I just cut them out & altered the colours and hues radically to suit Biorust. Perhaps rather humourously, only the petals are the photo-derived bit - the rest was pure photoshop work (including the leaves underneath).

Its a fair attempt, but you can do hue/saturation shifts on selections too ya know. I reckon a less 'tone-shifted' look would suit your graphic better. =]

I reckon it would be easier to go and use the pen tool and draw out one pettle.

I would then use the filter>noise, inside the pettle. I would then motion blur the noise.

Then add some colour.

I would then copy the pettle all the way round the main stem.

This is a pointless thread, i think.

I am sure there are many tutorials on this type of idea.

the only problem with that is that you loose the slight randomizations which takes away the effect of nature. it might look too computer generated.
but then again.. you could always randomize it by hand, clipping and moving..

Yeah i like the flowers mog has done, but people should really start to be a bit more open minded and try different things.
