Avatar question. Need Some Help

This is not my first forum so this is not the first avatar I hvae ever made. For some reason It wont show my avatar or upload even though it is a JPEG image. Ive never had any problems like this in other sites but for some reason I cant get the damn thing to appear.I can save it as a GIF file and use it the only problem is that it comes out looking like crap. Its the right size so its not like its too big but for some reason the picture just will not upload even though it has in the past on other sites...Any suggestions my name looks to plain without a avatar and sig.Any input would be great

The max size an avatar can on this forum is 100x100px... and 214.4kb big... Check that first...

Hmmmm, wierd JRG! I can see it just fine now - I guess it was something to do with dimensions/filesize, or just that your ISP was caching your content like crazy.

what usually works for me, is have the ending in all caps
ex: muffins.JPG
muffins.GIF

i dunno why but sometimes after a cap the ending it usually works for this kind of thing

Ahhhh, its an option in your browser's preferences. Oh, preferentially, just get a better browser such as Opera or Mozilla Firefox.
