Download targets

Hi all,

I am currently having problems with downloads from BioRust. I am unsure about which target folders each specific download needs to go to. I am currently extracting them to: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins and this doesn't seem to be working. Can anyone give me a pointer or two regarding where these need to go?

Any help much appreciated!

it depends on what you're downloading,

the brushes should go in the preset>brushes folder,
while the layers should go in the preset>layers folder.....

I would say search the preset directory, in there are al different maps. But the names of these maps hint to what should go inside.....

hope this helps.

Hmmm, Thanks for the help - I think this problem may be down to operator error. I will persevere nonetheless and will let you know if I succeed.

Thanks

You can store Presets (e.g. Brushes, Layer Styles, Patterns etc.) anywhere you like, but they'll only be loaded automatically by Photoshop if you put them in the default Presets sub-folders. Otherwise you'll have to Load them whenever you need them.

Don't put anything in the Plug-Ins folder other than plug-ins (i.e. filters).

Success!

I hadn't noticed the little arrow on the right that allows you to select the brush set. I was under the impression that the brushes where all automatically loaded into the brush set menu when they where downloaded.

Thanks for the help Unleashed, your pointers allowed me to move the correct stuff into the correct place.

Looking forward to using my new brush sets!
