Can I post?

Can I post a picture using images of holocaust victims. They are not extremely gruesome but all pictures of holocaust victims are not pleasent in nature. I am not using them in a degrading way, I am using them to show the cruelty of the Nazis.

I understand if you do not want me to post it.

I think the general consensus would be that the images should have some artistic or journalisic merit to them...

Art is nothing if not controversial at times...

One could certainly argue that it is immoral to use imagery of people who suffered great tragedy for the sake of art, but at the same time, we must never forget that great tragedy and should remember those who were so horribly mistreated and how their ordeal, as heinous as it was, changed the world.

It speaks volumes that you've had the forethought to ask beforehand.

I am not going to say "Yes, post them' or 'No, don't post them'... i truly believe that decision should be yours... of course, Tamlin and Manic M0g may have an opinion on the matter as the site owner and Super Mod..

If it's not too late...

I would say post your image in the Work In Progress section and give people a chance to comment. My personal opinion is that there's very little to say about the Holocaust and the Nazis that hasn't already been said one way or another, but give it a shot.
