Well I had this (brilliant) idea, if I may, for that credit thing.

Maybe it's an good idea to make a "portfolio of the day" link on the front-page. Like an adv. spot that can be bought using biocredits. Then there should be an portfolio to display, so some gallery uploads are required...but that is not a problem, right?

what about a biorust screensaver? members could nominate thier favorites every 3 months or so thru a dialog page or a nominate link in the gallery. (like the add to favorites at the bottom) one nomination per pic, per user so artificial vote inflation would be eliminated.
every 3 months or so the top 25-100? would be combined into a neat little package for download at biorust along with the software to run the screen saver. for say 100 biocredits or so. or less.
if possible the images could also include the submitters username.

I just passed the 1000 mark and I dont have anything to advertise so buying ad space is pointless.
I had thought of putting up an "ad" to my wife doing the whole "lovey dovey, I love you" thing, but she dosent come here, so... it would just be a waste.

Im over the 4k....and I have nothing to do with it...
