is the rule on how many pics that can be posted in the gallery a day actully ever going to be put in place,i can maybe understand 2-5 pics but 10 or more a day is way to much,it stops other peoples work not beening seen as much,i think it should be limted to 2 pics a day i think that is quite fair,it's been mentioned before but it seems like nothing come's of it

I know - it's really annoying but I've given up trying to discourage people from doing it. It seems that the 5-image-per-day maximum either just doesn't work or has never been put into place. Either way, one or two people are still doing it.

All I can say (apart from reiterating what has already been said in this thread: http://forums.biorust.com/biorust-sp...ge-upload.html (Maximum Image Upload) ) is that people who flood the Gallery will find that they receive far fewer comments than those who limit themselves to uploading just a few choice images at a time.

I can't see why two gallery posts per day wouldn't be sufficient enough, three max. But, as stated before in previous threads about the credit system, maybe something can be implemented where we can "purchase" time in the gallery.

Makes sense, would give us a reason to "earn" comments and attention. If we wanted to post any more than two pieces in any one day, we'd have to "purchase" time in the gallery, say five biocredits per post, maximum being five posts.

Better yet, why not make it so if any more than two items gets uploaded, only two of them go on the homepage and the others go directly to our own gallery?

Just my thoughts on the matter.

They are all good ideas dewdman, but I don't know if the PhotoPost software is configurable in that way (and even if it is, I doubt Man1c M0g will have the time to put it into place now, what with his big house-move going on).

Yes, he indeed is a busy man, but he does manage to run a pretty nice ship on these artistic seas. Aye, we shall have to harpoon any shipmate the second he dare break the upload limit and lay rest his carcass to a shallow grave.
